"Learn Japanese with Yoijoho!"
Are you discouraged after taking several Japanese language
courses, you still can't speak as well as you’d like? Imagine if you
could communicate with Japanese people more freely. Imagine how fun it
would be if you could discuss a variety of subjects related to Japan. Imagine having many Japanese friends to hang out with.
“Yoijoho” in English means “good information”. Learning Japanese with me
will help you gain the useful and practical information you need in
order to master Japanese.
I have been teaching Japanese in New York
City since 1996. I developed my own system called, “The Akino System”
to teach my clients how to speak Japanese more freely -- without
analyzing grammar so much. This system also focuses on conversation and
communicating like native Japanese people, as opposed to speaking like
sentences in text books.
I work with Cartus, a global business consulting company, as a language
trainer and have taught at Baruch College (CUNY). I have taught people
from a variety of backgrounds, ages, and with different purposes
including Columbia Prep High school students, bankers and PR
professionals.
With my professional background as a project manager
for multiple organizations in the past and the use of my acting and
improvisation technique, I can help make learning Japanese exciting, not
painful; challenging, but rewarding.
Do you want to speak like a native? If you are a business man or woman
dealing with Japanese clients, you may want to learn a few expressions
to make a good impression. Even the stern Japanese clients may feel
relaxed and
become friendly after hearing your “aisatsu”.
